As a Consultant, Project Manager, Scrum Master, and Agile Coach with over 10 years of experience, I excel in addressing complex business challenges by building and mentoring teams while implementing solutions through both Agile and traditional methods. Working collaboratively with teams to elicit and understand client needs, challenges, and goals, I swiftly identify opportunities to achieve strategic and operational objectives. I leverage astute problem-solving skills with thoughtful, solution-oriented thinking. The outcome: organizations realize business value through customer-focused solutions that enhance capabilities, boost productivity, and foster cost-effectiveness.
With a background in Arts Administration, Leadership Development/Facilitation, Church Music, and Music Performance, I love teams in all their complexities. As an organist and choir director, I’ve been a church musician for over 25 years and taught K-12 music in the Cincinnati Public Schools. As an Facilitator/Instructional Designer, I’ve created and delivered leadership and change management training to adult professionals for E.W. Scripps, a national media company. As an arts administrator and project manager, I led the Community Engagement & Learning programs for the Cincinnati Symphony & Pops Orchestras, worked for the Tessitura Network as a Sr. Project Manager and Consultant with over 75 national/international arts and cultural organizations, and have worked on major Cloud and AI initiatives for Pricewaterhouse Coopers.
Through many years of practicing, performing, teaching, and coaching groups of all skills and ages, I know how to prepare and put a polished performance onto a stage and in front of an audience. Though I still perform occasionally and love to lead groups in music-making, as an independent project manager and consultant I use the skills I’ve honed over the years to bring teams together to deliver complex, enterprise-level software solutions.
Besides relaxing with music, I enjoy being on my bike, discovering a new part of the world, playing in the garden, or just being creative and generally enjoying life. I am also a very itinerant harpsichord builder and letterpress printer, having acquired a half-completed harpsichord kit and two printing presses in the past couple of years. (pandemic hobbies anyone?) Fun fact: besides having typical professional certifications, I am a trained drum circle facilitator and am also trained in using LEGO SeriousPlay methodology for team development, but I promise not to make you play with LEGO or bang on a drum in our work together (unless that’s something your team would enjoy).
